Halal Tapas Bar in Malaysia

El Guiño

A Spanish entrepreneur couple living in Ipoh, Malaysian city (well known for being the food capital in the country) decided to open the first authentic tapas bar.

The challenge is to introduce the Spanish tapas, adapted to the Muslim population, transform the kitchen (remove pork and alcohol) and make it halal. This would be a great introduction into Spanish cuisine, as until this moment no other Spanish restaurant adapted its menu to them.

We searched for a name with the characteristic letter of the Spanish alphabet, the Ñ, and we created a cool logo with the colors associated with Spain and represents the young and curious population who love to be introduced to other cultures.
